I am in love with this pattern! I think it is so adorable!
I started practicing it with cheap yarn to see if it is something that I could do. I think I can! I have never made something this complicated before but I think I am going to go for it! Time for a trip to my LYS!!
There is a bird outside that has a broken leg and it is breaking my heart. We called a rescur place but they haven’t come yet and he is just trying to find shade. I love birds, always have! I think it is because as a kid my nickname was Juliebird.

I started this new blog to post my knitting stuff on it!
I am participating in a Secret Pal swap on Facebook and I wanted to post more stuff about myself!
- I love the color green! Green just makes me happy…..
- I will knit with anything that I can get my hands on! I love wool though, I even like the scratchy kind!
- I get bored with neutral colors! I don’t look forward to UFO’s if they are in neutral colors.
- I love bamboo needles! They just feel much more comfortable in my hands.
- I have a hubby who thinks my knitting is cool. I have been working on a blanket for more than a year! Yikes, I hope to finish it soon!
- Knitting socks scare me but I would love to learn how!!!!
- I have a weird obsession with variegated yarn! I love how they stripe! My Mom told me that my Grandmother always knitted with multicolor yarn so I am guessing I get it from her.
- My Mom taught me how to knit but I couldn’t get the hang of two needles so I learned how to crochet! I did that for several years than knitting just made sense and I have been doing it ever since!
- I love watching Stargate, Family Guy, anything on food network, Gilmore Girls, Oprah, X-Files, Northern Exposures!
- I love movies and some of my favorites are Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Narnia, Click…ok there are so many movies I love I can’t list them all!
- I LOVE Harry Potter! Love the books, Love the movies! I want Charmed Knits so bad! I have a count down on my other websites and I pre-ordered the 7th book the 1st day it was available!!
- I have an obession with Chocolate, Ice Cream, and Daniel’s (my husband) cooking!
I think that is all for now! I will post some of my knitting up later!
Gotta go Stargate is on!!
